Frequently asked questions

How many photos do I need?

One. A character is a single clear portrait, not a trained model, so it’s ready the moment it’s saved.

Can my character speak in videos?

Yes. Save a voice clip of up to 10 seconds with the character (or generate one with Seed Audio), and Cherry 2 Pro and Lemon use that voice when you mention them.

Can I use someone else’s face?

Only with their consent. Mage characters are private to your account, and the skill won’t build a character to impersonate someone.

Can I attach my photo to the chat?

Mage can’t read files attached to a chat, so share a direct link to the image instead, such as your store’s product image URL. Agents that run commands, like Claude Code and Cursor, can upload a file from your computer.

How much does it cost?

The skill is free and open source. Each generation it starts is paid in Gems from your Mage account at the model’s listed price, and your assistant quotes the total before it creates anything.
