Where it comes from, soft or hard, how bright, and what color. Anything you leave out uses the app’s default.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it the same as the Relight app?

Yes. The skill sends the Relight app’s own prompt with the same models and defaults, so your agent gets the app’s results from a chat, and can run it on many images in one go.

Which directions can the light come from?

Any of the app’s positions: front, back, left, right, and the diagonals between them, at eye level, 45° above or below, or straight overhead or underneath.

Can it fix a badly exposed photo?

It works with what is there, so it can’t recover detail lost to over- or underexposure.

Can I attach my photo to the chat?

Mage can’t read files attached to a chat, so share a direct link to the image instead, such as your store’s product image URL. Agents that run commands, like Claude Code and Cursor, can upload a file from your computer.

How much does it cost?

The skill is free and open source. Each generation it starts is paid in Gems from your Mage account at the model’s listed price, and your assistant quotes the total before it creates anything.
