AI Meme Generator

An AI meme generator makes the joke and the picture at once. Instead of hunting for a template and typing over it, you describe the situation, the expression and the caption, and the model draws an original image with the text where it belongs.

GPT Image 2.5 Flare is the model for it on Mage: it follows a comic brief closely and renders captions cleanly, and at Low quality it is unlimited from Basic, so a joke that misses costs you nothing but the laugh you didn't get. Nano Banana 2.1 is the second opinion when the layout has several panels or labels.

Memes get better when the cast is consistent. Save your cat, your mascot or a character you invented once in the Characters system, and they can star in every format you make. When a still is not enough, the same character can move in a short clip.

Most memes are a setup and a reaction, so describe both. 'Top panel: a black cat calmly sitting at a desk. Bottom panel: the same cat buried under a pile of printed pictures at 3 a.m.' Then give the captions in quotes with their positions. The model handles the rest, including the lettering style if you name it.

The classic look is bold white capitals with a black outline, top and bottom. Ask for it by description rather than by a font name. For a newer format, ask for a plain caption bar above the image in black sans-serif text instead.

• Keep each caption under ten words.
• Exaggerate the expression: deadpan, horrified, smug.
• Use panels for the setup and the punchline instead of cramming one image.
• If the joke needs a specific object, name it.

A recurring character turns one-off jokes into a series. Create a character from one clear photo of your pet, your mascot or an original design, then mention it by @handle. GPT Image 2.5 Flare, Nano Banana 2.1 and Mango 3 all read characters, and the same character can appear in stickers and comics too.

Use real people only with their permission. Mage does not allow non-consensual imagery of real people, and GPT Image and Nano Banana apply their providers' safety filters, which may refuse some requests.

A still meme can become a short clip. Attach it to a video model and describe the motion, the way the AI image to video generator works, and you get a few seconds of the cat slowly turning to camera.
